Nationwide U.S. federal coverage

Federal court searches through PACER

We search the nationwide PACER Case Locator for cases in U.S. federal district, bankruptcy and appellate courts. We can obtain available docket reports and filed documents, including civil and criminal case records within that federal scope.

PACER means Public Access to Court Electronic Records. State and county court searches are arranged separately. Retrieval is subject to public access: sealed or restricted documents are excluded.

What we arrange

One set of instructions. Records across borders.

01

U.S. corporate records & filings

For a closing, a new registration or an existing entity’s next filing, send us the company details and the work your office requires.

01

Company searches & official documents

Obtain company status information, Certificates of Good Standing or Existence, and copies of articles and other filed corporate records. Tell us when state-certified copies are required.

02

Formations & registrations in other states

Arrange corporation and limited liability company (LLC) formation filings, and registrations to do business in additional states, on your office’s prepared or approved instructions.

03

Annual reports & corporate changes

Coordinate annual reports, amendments, merger filings, dissolutions and withdrawals. We confirm the filing office, documents and handling arrangements for your request.

04

Registered-agent arrangements

Arrange registered-agent appointments and changes for U.S. entities, with the service requirements and ongoing charges confirmed with your office.

02

U.S. due diligence & local court records

Washington State and other U.S. jurisdictions can be included in the same request as your Canadian searches.

01

Uniform Commercial Code & lien searches

Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) financing statement and fixture-filing searches, along with available tax lien and judgment lien searches at the state or local offices specified in your instructions.

02

UCC filing coordination

Submission of UCC financing statements and related filings on your instructions, with filing evidence returned to your office. The filing type, jurisdiction and fees are confirmed before submission.

03

State & county court searches

Civil and criminal court record searches and document retrieval in the requested state or county. Coverage, date ranges and access conditions are confirmed for each court; federal matters can be included through PACER.

03

International company & ownership searches

We welcome enquiries for Asia, Europe and other parts of the world. The records available depend on the country, registry and entity involved.

01

Company registration & status

Obtain available registry records showing an entity’s registered name, number, status and office details. Official extracts and certified documents can be requested where the registry provides them.

02

Ownership & control

Request available director, shareholder and Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) information to help your office understand the entity behind a transaction. The depth of ownership information is confirmed for the jurisdiction.

03

Asia-Pacific company verification

Company verification enquiries include China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Available records and English-language reporting are confirmed for your request.

04

International court records

Court search and document-retrieval enquiries outside the U.S. are assessed by country and court. Send the parties, location and records required so we can confirm the available search route.

04

KYC, business verification & screening

Tell us what your client or counterparty review needs to establish. We can coordinate supporting records and screening, with the countries, subjects and search scope agreed in advance.

01

Know Your Customer & Know Your Business support

Corporate records, ownership information and screening can be combined to support your KYC or KYB review. If your file calls for a particular identity-verification method, include it so we can confirm availability.

02

Sanctions, watchlists & politically exposed persons

Arrange available sanctions and watchlist screening for individuals and companies, and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) checks for individuals. Potential matches are supplied for your office’s review.

03

Adverse-media searches

Search available news sources for potentially relevant reporting about the named individual or company. Findings and source references support your assessment alongside the registry and court records.

Worldwide enquiries are welcome. Search availability, scope, fees and turnaround are confirmed before proceeding. We identify the jurisdictions searched and any reported access or coverage limits when delivering the results.

Good to know

Common questions.

What does a nationwide PACER search cover?

It covers the federal district, bankruptcy and appellate courts indexed by the PACER Case Locator. Available dockets and filed documents can then be requested from the identified courts. State and county court cases require separate searches.

Can our Canadian and international searches be ordered together?

Yes. Send one checklist with the names, jurisdictions and deadline. We will confirm each part of the request and coordinate delivery of the available records to your office.

Are the same records available in every country?

No. Company disclosures, court access, certification and language options vary. Send the country and records required, and we will confirm the available scope, fees and timing before proceeding.

What should we include for KYC or business-verification work?

Provide the exact subject names, relevant countries, known company identifiers and the checks your office requires. Specify any required identity-verification method, ownership detail or screening scope so we can confirm what can be arranged.
